- early morning starts & long days
-Need to be available Saturday, August 9th to Thursday, August 14th, for practice & championship rounds

-interest of food service or banquets in regards to planning and organizing, and implementing the events
-fairly light in nature

-Saturday, August 9th, Wild West Night 6:00 pm to 10:00 pm

-Sunday, August 10th, Flag Raising/Reception/Willingdon Cup Dinner 5:30 pm to 9:00 pm

-Tuesday, August 12th, Willingdon Cup Presentation/Reception 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm

-Thursday, August 14th, Awards Ceremony 5:00pm to 7:00 pm

-in addition approximate 3 – 4 hours for meetings to coordinate events

COMMUNICATIONS

-two volunteers, Sunday, August 10th, 4:00 to 6:00

-one volunteer each shift, Monday, August 11 & Tuesday, August 12th 12:00 to 3:30 and 3:30 to 7:30

-one volunteer, Wednesday, August 13th, 1:30 to 5:30

-two volunteers, Thursday, August 14th 1:30 to 5:30

-Forecaddies assist players in locating balls and need to be familiar with golf rules and golf etiquette

-expected to endure inclement weather and have keen eyesight

-required to work in 4 hours shifts from 7:00 am to 7:00 pm and need to report for shifts 30 minutes prior to start of shift

SCORING

-Runners from scoring tent to RCGA Tournament Office

-Standard bearers will keep spectators informed of the scores of the leading players (need to have a strong knowledge of golf to ensure scoring accuracy)

-Scoreboard graphics will print numbers and keep a running summary of all the scores as they come in

-Scoreboard assistant will help the graphics artist to post scores

-some physically demanding positions

-must be able to walk 18 holes (approximately five hours)

-some will need to carry a 10 lb. standard
-volunteers needed from Saturday, August 9th to Thursday, August 14th with at least three – 5 hour shifts
TRANSPORTATION

-parking security -fairly light, however could be on your feet for long periods of time -Saturday, August 9th to Thursday, August 14th with at least three – 5 hour shifts
