Canadian Men’s Amateur Championship - Volunteer Rally - July 29

 

Thank you once again for the time you are committing to this event.  This tournament would not be possible without you.

 

Each volunteer has been assigned to a volunteer area and your committee chair should have been in contact with you regarding your schedule.  You will be able to meet with your committee chair on Tuesday, July 29th from 5:00 to 7:00 at the Volunteer Rally.  The rally will be held at the Paradise Golf Resort Clubhouse and every volunteer is asked to come to pick up their golf shirts, hat, & ID tag. 

 

All volunteers are required to wear, during their shifts, their ID tag, volunteer golf shirt & tan or khaki walking shorts, capri pants, or pants.

 

All volunteers are required to pay a $25.00 Volunteer Rewards Package fee, payable to 104th CMAC.  This payment will be collected at the Volunteer Rally.  We are only able to accept cash or cheques for payment of your volunteer fee.

 

The Volunteer Rewards Package includes the following:

  • access, while on shift, to the Volunteer Lounge and Rest area with coffee, lunch, & snacks served
  • two volunteer golf shirts & RCGA hat
  • one pre-event Volunteer Pep Rally, July 29th from 5:00 to 7:00
  • discount to purchase 2008 Canadian Men’s Amateur merchandise from Paradise Canyon Golf Resort
  • invitation to the Volunteer Appreciation Party, following the tournament
  • access to watch six days of the top amateur golfers

Volunteers as ball spotters and caddies are still required, so if you know someone who would be interested please have them go to the site above and complete a signup sheet.

 

The public and volunteers are encouraged to come out and watch the tournament at no cost.

Volunteer Newsletter - June 27, 2008

Welcome Canadian Men’s Amateur Championship volunteers. 

 

Thank you in advance for the time you are committing to this event.  Holding this tournament would not be possible without you.

 

Each volunteer has now been assigned to a volunteer area and your committee chair will be contacting you as the scheduling is developed.  Each volunteer will be asked to complete a minimum of three shifts or 15 hours of volunteer service.

 

All volunteers are required to wear, during their shifts, their ID tag, volunteer golf shirt & tan or khaki walking shorts, capri pants, or pants.

The Volunteer Rally will be held at Paradise Canyon Golf Resort, on Tuesday, July 29 from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm and we ask that every volunteer come to the rally to pick up your volunteer shirts and RCGA hat and to pay for your Rewards Package.  At this event further information will be provided by the committee chairs and you will meet the other volunteers in your area.  If you are unable to attend the rally please make alternative arrangements with your committee chair.
