WE ARE STILL LOOKING FOR MORE VOLUNTEERS AS SPOTTERS - ON COURSE OBSERVERS. You will not be required to make any rulings while on the course, your only task will be to watch the golf balls coming from the Tee Boxes and helping find the ball if the player misses a fairway

Lethbridge has a strong history of hosting many Canadian first class sporting championships and this is only possible because of the excellent volunteers this city is known for. The 2008 Canadian Men’s Amateur, will be hosted by Paradise Canyon Golf Resort, Lethbridge, Alberta and will welcome 162 of Canada and the World’s top Amateur male golfers this August.

A target of 180 volunteers along with 40 – 50 Caddies will be recruited for the 2008 Canadian Men’s Amateur and all interested individuals are invited to apply for one of these exciting volunteer opportunities.

Your application will be processed as soon as possible and the 2008 Canadian Men’s Amateur Volunteer Committee will do it’s very best to match individuals with available positions. Please note that applying for a volunteer position does not guarantee acceptance, but we value your support and interest.

You will be contacted by the Volunteer Commitee to confirm your position and you will be required to pay your Volunteer Rewards Fee of $25.00 at the Volunteer Rally July 29th, at Paradise Canyon from 5 - 7pm.

That Rally will also allow you to meet the Chair for the area you have been assigned, learn what your duties are, plan your schedule for the week and size your volunteer uniform.

Dates of the 2008 Canadian Men’s Amateur are August 8 - 14, 2008, and with setup beginning on Friday August 8, 2008, with Qualifying and Practice rounds beginning August 9, 2008.

Every effort will be made to assign volunteers to their area of choice. We hope many volunteers will want to assist in any area.
